PLANS
All plans include full access — the difference is the commitment period and how much you save.
HOW IT WORKS
Download and choose your plan
On the Google Play and Apple stores. Monthly, semiannual, or annual — each with its own free trial period.
Name, email, mobile number, and password — sign up directly in the app.
Set your areas and alert types
Home, work, commutes — as many neighborhoods as you want.
Receive alerts
Notifications verified by analysts, sent directly to your phone.
Employees who travel around the city, go on business trips, or live in risk areas are exposed every day. Movi Alert gives companies a concrete way to take care of that.
Movi Alert App
For users who subscribe to Movi Alert directly through Google Play or the App Store, on the Monthly, Semiannual, or Annual plans.
How do I register after downloading the app?
The first time you open the app, enter your email and we check whether it’s associated with an active plan. You can then choose a Monthly, Semiannual, or Annual plan, which will be charged directly through your store (Google or Apple). After completing your registration with full name, mobile number, and password, you’ll need to enter the activation code sent by SMS. You’ll then start receiving relevant alerts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Why should I enable geolocation during installation?
Geolocation is what allows you to receive alerts based on your actual location. We recommend choosing “Always” in your phone’s location permissions, so you don’t miss relevant alerts when the app is running in the background.
How does the free trial period work?
All plans include a free trial with no commitment: 7 days for the Monthly plan, 14 days for the Semiannual, and 30 days for the Annual. During the trial, you have full access to the app. If you cancel before the period ends, you won’t be charged.
How does renewal work, and how do I cancel my subscription?
Renewal is automatic at the end of each cycle (monthly, semiannual, or annual). You can cancel anytime, directly through the app or your Google/Apple account subscription settings — there’s no penalty or commitment. Access remains active until the end of the period already paid for.
Can I change plans?
Yes. When switching to a plan with a new commitment period, the corresponding price takes effect immediately. When switching to a shorter-term plan, the change is usually applied only at the next cycle, keeping your current plan active until then.
What payment methods are accepted?
Payment is processed through the app store used (Google Play or App Store), following the payment methods registered on your Google or Apple account.
I can’t activate my app. What should I do?
If you didn’t receive the activation code, check that your mobile number was entered in the correct international format, and tap “resend,” located just below the activation box, to request a new code.
I’m registered, but I can’t log in. What should I do?
First, confirm that the email and password you entered are correct. If the problem persists, your password may be incorrect or your subscription may no longer be active. Request a new password through the app or contact movialert@movisafe-americalatina.com.
What should I do if I forgot my password?
On the login screen, just below the password field, tap “Forgot?” to reset it. You’ll receive a temporary password by email to access the app.
I’m not receiving notifications on my phone. What should I do?
iPhone (iOS): Go to Settings > Notifications > MOVI ALERT and enable “Allow Notifications” and “Show on Lock Screen.” Also check that “Do Not Disturb”/Focus mode isn’t turned on, as it blocks incoming alerts.
Android: Open Settings > Notifications > App Notifications > MOVI ALERT and adjust the desired options (lock screen, default sound, blink, Do Not Disturb).
How do I choose the types of alerts I’m interested in?
During installation, and at any time afterward under Account > Incident Notifications, you can select the alert types relevant to you (e.g., shootings, robberies, accidents, traffic, weather). There’s no limit on configured areas or types, and changes are saved automatically.
How do I choose the places I want to monitor?
During app installation, and at any time afterward under Account > Monitored Zones, you can select the coverage areas that interest you, such as your workplace, near your home, roads, and highways. After choosing the city, select the different areas to pick your neighborhoods. You can add as many areas and neighborhoods as you want.
Can I use a foreign mobile number in Brazil?
Yes, any international number is accepted, as long as it’s correctly registered on your account.
Can I use the app outside Brazil?
You’ll continue to receive alerts according to your configured areas, but service coverage is limited to Brazilian territory.
How is my personal data protected?
All information about the collection, use, and retention of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, available here: “Privacy Policy (EN)”
How do I request deletion of my account and data?
Send an email to movialert@movisafe-americalatina.com requesting deletion. Your account and all associated personal data are removed within 3 business days.
For companies that contract Movi Alert for their employees, with a plan sized by number of people, centralized provisioning and billing — outside the app store.
How does Movi Alert’s corporate plan work?
The company contracts a plan sized by number of employees, with provisioning and billing centralized in a single contract — unlike the individual subscription made through the app store. Employees access the same app with the same level of protection, but access is granted by the company, not by individual purchase.
How do I get the plan for my company?
Talk to our sales team to define the number of employees, contract duration, and billing terms.
How are employees registered (provisioning)?
The company account administrator registers employees on the Movi Alert management platform with each person’s basic details (name, email, mobile). A spreadsheet can be imported all at once. Each employee can then register directly in the app — without going through any individual purchase or subscription screen.
Does the employee need to pay or subscribe individually through the App Store/Google Play?
No. By logging in with the emails registered by the company, the employee gets the access level already defined in the corporate contract, with no individual charge or purchase screen inside the app.
Is there a limit on employees (seats) per contract?
Yes, the number of employees with access is defined in the contract. Requests for access beyond the contracted limit are subject to the terms agreed with the sales team at the time of contracting.
How do I add, remove, or change employees during the contract?
The account administrator makes these changes directly on the management platform, up to the established quota.
Are there different permission levels within the company account?
Yes. Different profiles can be configured — for example, an account administrator with access to the management platform, and standard employees who only use the app.
What happens to an employee’s access when they leave the company?
The administrator revokes access on the management platform, and the employee loses access to the app from that point on. Personal data handling follows the current Privacy Policy.
What happens when the company’s contract expires or is terminated?
Access for all employees linked to that company is suspended at the end of the contract term, unless renewal is arranged in advance with the sales team.
Is my company’s data kept separate from other companies or individual users?
Yes. Each company operates as its own organization within the platform, with no data or alert sharing between different accounts.
Is there dedicated support for corporate clients?
Yes, corporate accounts receive priority service. The specific channel is defined with the sales team at the time of contracting.
Can I test the corporate plan before signing a contract?
Talk to the sales team to check the evaluation options available for your case.
How is the security of company and employee information guaranteed?
Data traffic is encrypted, and access checks are performed server-side, ensuring that the contracted level of protection is always respected, regardless of the device used. Full details are in Movi Alert’s Privacy Policy.
